The Morris Marina Owners Club will be attending the first Cars at the Spa on the 30th June 2019

The first “ Cars at the Spa ” is being held at the Pump Room Gardens set in the heart of the
regency spa town of Leamington on Sunday 30th June. Adjacent to the Royal Pump Rooms
( C V32 4AA ) and beside the shopping area known for its small individual shops in addition to
the larger multiples, it offers an interesting day out. The Pump Room Gardens are just across the
road from Jephson Gardens, a large park with many floral displays and an interesting indoor
tropical house. Leamington also has a multitude of cafes and restaurants within easy walking
distance.
The Rally itself is open to any classic vehicles with an emphasis on vehicles over 25 years old.
As this is the first event of its kind entries will be limited so it is advisable to book a place early to
be sure of being accepted. Participants will be asked to arrive between 9.30am and 10.30 am and
to remain in place until 4.00pm ( except in cases of emergency, or previously arranged leaving
time ) . The cost of £5 includes a rally plaque, and any profits will go towards Rotary supported
charities both national and local. Please send any photos and information to us about your

There will be room on site for picnics and entertainment will be provided from the newly
refurbished bandstand area. There will be a number of caterers on site to provide food while as
mentioned earlier, there are numerous other opportunities for food in the town centre including a
cafe in the Royal Pump Rooms next door. The object of the day is to give entrants and the public
an enjoyable day out whilst collecting for Rotary supported charities.
The Club has supported 25 charities in the past year including local, national and international
organisations, dispensing some £17,000 . Charities helped include:-
Water Aid, Mollie Ollie ’ s Wishes, Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs, Hope and Homes
for Children , Foodbank, Air Ambulance, Cruse Bereavement, Town Mayor ’ s Charity Appeal,
Sightsavers, Salvation Army, Helping Hands Community Charity, and many others.
